Fiber Optic Visual Fault Locator Grandway VLS-8-30, 30 mW
Visual laser Grandway VLS-8 is designed to check the integrity of optical fibers and detect any damages. With the laser emission source, faults can be accurately detected up to 15 meters away. The device quickly and precisely localizes bends and breaks in optical patch cords, splitters, and cable modules. During damage localization of the fiber-optic communication line, VLS-8 emits red light with a wavelength of 650 nm, easily visible to the human eye.
The VLS-8-30 laser emission source is designed to detect defects in fiber optic lines during tangling or fiber damage at cable bends, as well as for precise work with optical fiber during installation and repair of FTTX. The device can be used for both single-mode and multimode fibers.
Advantages:
Universal FC, SC, ST connector ports with 2.5 mm ferrule
Detects fiber damage in the cable up to 15 km away
Supports 2 operation modes - pulse and continuous illumination
Ergonomic and easy to use
