The Multitest MO4035B Optical Reflectometer allows for easy measurements on optical lines up to 100 km in length. The MO4035B model operates at wavelengths of 1310/1550 nm and has a dynamic measurement range of 36/34 dB. One of the device's features is the use of optical ports with angled SC/APC polishing, which reduces the "dead zone" on the reflectogram and allows for the measurement of short optical patch cords with lengths of 3-5 m.
Test results can be stored in the device's memory or on an external TF card (microSD-compatible memory card) for further transfer to a flash drive. With the available USB-A and USB-Type-C ports, reflectograms can be conveniently and quickly transferred to a PC and other devices for viewing.
Using a remote unit, the reflectometer can be used to test "twisted pair" cables, verify connector installations (pinouts), determine line length, and detect breaks.
The device features an ergonomic design with a 7-inch touchscreen LCD display equipped with a user-friendly interface, resembling operation with an Android tablet. Automatic brightness adjustment of the display ensures comfortable operation in both bright and dim lighting conditions. All functions and settings are easily accessible through convenient tabs that can be switched by simply swiping across the screen.
The device is equipped with a lithium-ion battery (Li-Ion) with a capacity of 10400 mAh, which can be charged via USB-A or USB Type-C ports. It can continuously operate in measurement mode for up to 8 hours without requiring additional recharging.
