Optical Power Meter Multitest MT1109CVN RJ-45, 850-1625 nm, 26 dBm, Twisted Pair Tester

The MT1109CVN Optical Power Meter from Multitest is a convenient device for measuring optical and copper segments of cable networks. This compact device combines a wide range of functionalities, including optical power meter functions, twisted pair testers, and can detect defects and damage to optical fibers using visible red light.

The MT1109CVN model has settings for power measurements at different wavelengths: 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, and 1625 nm. Signal measurement up to +26 dBm is possible without risking damage to the detector. The latest results can be stored in the device's memory.

The device includes a red laser light source (10 mW), which allows monitoring the integrity of fibers at distances of up to 10-12 km. A special testing mode for RJ45 connectors allows checking copper cables and patch cords for breaks, as well as for short circuits or improper installation.

The power meter is equipped with a backlit display and a flashlight for working in low-light conditions. The tester is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 450 mAh, which can be charged via a 5V power adapter or USB port.
